Last time,we talked about what you need to write—after you finish writing. We’re still focusing on how to help paying customers find your book.
After you have written the description for your book, you need to come up with search words. These are words or phrases people who would like your book are likely to type into a search engine to find you.More importantly, you want to discover what words people are already typing into search engines to find books similar to your book. Google’s Adwords is the most commonly used keyword generator.
You can select at least 5 search terms for Amazon. Lulu is a bit more liberal and allows for three or four phrases each containing two or three word phrases.
Try Goodle Adwords to create your keywords. Go to https://adwords.google.com Type in a few words. Try words from your title. You need to write keywords so that the customers most likely to want to read and buy your book actually do find it.
